Cars Cupcake Set and Cookies

One of Liam's best buddies had his birthday 2 weeks ago and they went to celebrate by watching Cars 2 in 3D.

It was a great day with little friends enjoying a day at the movies.

This cupcake set was made to celebrate the day.

The original design is by the fantastic Jhoanee of Its a Cake Thing and she happily allowed me to "interpret" her design!

So I included some of my favourite characters and voila!

The cupcakes are chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. The desert dust is tinted coconut.

All decorations are handmade and completely edible.

Lightening McQueen, Sir Tow Mater (loved making his "rusty appearance") and Fillmore.

A cactus #8, Guido and a stack of tyres.

I also made car cookies on sticks to be included in the favour bags!
