Pinwheels & Bunting 1st Birthday Cake

Earlier this year I made Ava's Christening cake and I could not believe that time had flown sooo fast and it was time to celebrate her 1st birthday.

Her birthday party was being held at the park with lots of balloons, bunting and polka dots!

I was pretty much given free reign on the design and I LOVED the outcome - a girly cake without being too girly!

All decorations are completely handmade and edible.

The bottom tier is chocolate mud cake with dark chocolate ganache.

The top tier is vanilla bean cake with white chocolate ganache.
