Cupcake Tower made for Tom for his 40th, sorry his 39+1 Birthday!
Tom's wife Jehan called me after she had arranged the wonderful invitations through Delightful Creations. They had made her some simple and effective invitations based on the theme of black/white/silver and cocktails.
We decided on a cupcake tower for her cocktail function. As it was for a man, nothing too fussy, but simple and elegant. One main cupcake on top with a 3D 39+1 (to match the theme) and the rest of the cupcakes were a mix of stripes, 39+1 as well as a replica of the cocktail motif from the invitation which I handpainted on.
Jehan also arranged for individual desserts to be made up for the guests - see below - based on the black and white colour theme.
Cupcakes are all vanilla bean sponge cakes with white chocolate ganache.
Chocolate mousse shots with white chocolate shards |
Lemon zest cheesecake pots with dark chocolate shavings |
Vanilla pannacotta shots with fresh blueberries |
The trio of desserts! |
