A Recycled Circus 1st Birthday Cake

Rebecca came to me about a 1st birthday cake for her son Andre.

Back in February I made Andre's circus themed Christening cake (click here), and Bec loved her circus decorations that much, they were all beautifully preserved. So for Andre's 1st birthday, she planned a big festa to celebrate and decided to recycle her toppers and make a completely different cake!

I came up with this design. Something that was effective and gave enough space for each topper to shine. I do not know now which cake I prefer??? Oh well ... it is a tie!

All toppers are handmade and recycled from the previous cake.

The cakes are chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache.

The sign is priinted on paper and attached the retro straw poles.

So happy!

Beautifully kept and recycled toppers. A few minor surgeries were made ..... the monkey needed a new hand and foot and the clown needed a pom pom for his hat!
