Hi Bertcha. Congratulations for your parents wedding next month. I love everything personalised and trying to find something that is nice and not tacky is hard! One thing I personally love is a handpainted ceramic platter with the family on it. This is painted onto a platter of your choice with a background suiting your parents likes and then you can have little painted caricatures of your family, including family pets. This is something that I myself you make for you and they have proven to be a great hit for weddings, birthdays and especially anniversaries. The other thing I will obviously suggest is a custom made cake for the occasion - this cake can reflect your parents personalities and is completely customised and yummy to boot! I do not know whereabouts you live. I am in Sydney Australia, so if you are in the area, I would be priveledged to paint a plate or bake a cake for you! Thanks Jacki
