How wonderful to be able to make cupcakes for such a fun themed baby shower!
The first time mum-to-be wanted a baby shower without a hint of pastel in site (my kind of woman!). She loves the kids book "The Little Hungry Caterpillar" and hence the theme was born - based on the bold and beautiful colours of that book!
As any Sydneysider would know - Saturday was the gloomiest of days without a skerrick on natural light in sight! Hence my photos, even with great camera, no flash and all, did not come out the best.
However, the moment the mum-to-be client walked in my door, the day was sunny through the gloom. Such a wonderful and warm lady, who absolutely adored her cakes!
42 of these gems were made to be given out as favours to the baby shower guests.
The flavours were chocolate mud with chocolate ganache, white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache and choc/vanilla swirl cake with chocolate ganache.
