Thomas celebrated his 10th birthday over the weekend with an outing at the movies, but he loves his cricket, so his Mum decided on a rendition of his own cricket bat.
This cake was made to match his own cricket bat .... down to the brand, colours and even the cherries. To the not-so-well-versed-cricketers, cherries are the marks that a cricket ball leaves on a bat.
The cricket bat is chocolate mud with dark chocolate ganache.
Based on the photo sent to me .... a pretty good match (excuse the pun)! 
The birthday message looked like a part of the scorebook, showing Thomas on 10 not out!
