For those of you following my posts, this is the Christening cake that I made for Loreta's daughter Vittoria for her Christening yesterday.
A beautiful family blessed with a darling girl who is the apple of all their eyes.
Loreta is a very talented graphic designer and the invitations that she designed and made had a beautiful vintage lace motif on it and all Christening was styled all pink and white vintage. The bomboniere were little lanterns. Hence the cake theme.
The cake is chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache.
The lace design is all hand made (read hours +++++) and the lantern is also all handmade.
The handmade lantern to match the lantern bomboniere. The tea light is also fondant.
