Such a special religious day, deserves a special cake.
The Christening cake brief for the occasion, was simple, uncluttered and elegant. A little bit of colour was added with the smarties that tumbled down the cake.
A jar of smarties was given away as bomboniere to the guests - LOVE the idea!
The Christening was held at the wonderful Castel D'Oro function centre at Five Dock.
The cake flavours were:
Bottom tier - white chocolate mud with white choc ganache
Middle tier - dark chocolate mud with dark choc ganache
Top tier - vanilla cake with white choc ganache
The bands and letter blocks. I love how the smarties just bought that little bit of colour to this cake!
