This cake was for a nephew of a good friend who was celebrating his 18th birthday.
Luke loves Ferraris as well as soccer and his team of choice is Juventus.
I did initially want to do something a little more elaborate, but with 1 week off baby being due, I did not want to push the boundaries too much!
I actually loved the way this cake turned out and looked.
The cake is chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache.
Everything is completely edible except the soccer ball, which is fondant covered styrofoam.
